This week, before Wednesday, new releases bring serious energy for collectors. We’ve some hot first issues, a couple of wild horror drops, and some metal madness worth flexing.
Whether you're into dark fantasy, multiverse mashups, or variants that will make your wall controversial, this list covers it.
Here are our top five (ok six this week) for the week, and trust me, you don’t want to sleep on these:
TRENDING RELEASES NEXT WEEK
LOST FANTASY #1 (Image Comics)
Lost Fantasy marks the launch of a new ongoing series, and we like new series!! Set in an alternate history where a hidden realm of magic and monsters exists, the story follows rookie monster hunter Henry Blackheart (Cool name and Job).
Although a catastrophic breach leads to a mass killing, Henry is thrust into a mission that could determine the fate of worlds.
The series blends urban fantasy and horror elements, drawing comparisons to East of West and Something Is Killing the Children; it will be an entertaining read.

RED SONJA VS. THE ARMY OF DARKNESS #1 (Dynamite Entertainment)
We also get new covers for the thrilling crossover event, the She-Devil with a Sword, Red Sonja, teams up with the chainsaw-wielding Ash Williams, OMG.
As we know, Ash is hurled through time, and he lands in the Hyborian Age, where he must join forces with Red Sonja to prevent the evil sorcerer from obtaining the Necronomicon. Oh yes, here we go!!
There are some epic covers released next week, including the Mark Spesar. Below, it has been a good year for Dynamite comics so far, so I will be picking up this one.

SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN #41
Erica Slaughter returns in an issue that delves deeper into the mysteries of her past. This issue sets the stage for upcoming revelations and perhaps new characters that could play significant roles in the series. This is a keeper for the future; you just never know what's going to happen, and yes, check the amazing cover art on this one.

MARK SPEARS MONSTERS #4 (Keenspot Entertainment)
Not buying these just means you pay more later. For the fourth installment of Mark Spears' acclaimed horror anthology, we are taken backwards. Enough said on the Monsters, if you have been on a different planet for the last six months, your eBay searching for 1st prints is going to be miserable.

POWER COMPANY RECHARGED #1 (DC Comics)
Born from the events of Black Lightning and DC Power: Rise of the Power Company, this series kicks off a fresh chapter for a classic team, with a new mission and renewed urgency.
The reassembled Power Company steps up at a time when public trust in heroes is fading fast.
With anti-metahuman sentiment on the rise, the team is determined to push back and remind the world what real heroism looks like. Their first challenge sends them to Atlanta, where a deadly figure is targeting metahumans, and the streets are growing more dangerous by the day.
It's serious that for the Power DC followers, there are some excellent variants.

VAMPIRELLA #1 (PARRILLO METAL PREMIUM COVER)
Let’s be real, this cover isn’t making it to the living room wall unless you live alone or your partner’s extremely chilled.
This one’s a collector’s piece through and through, not just for the ahem eye, catching artwork, but because it’s a standout representation of Vampirella and could see a nice value bump down the road.
The metal variant adds that premium edge, dropping next week. Honestly? It’s a killer cover that fans will want to grab before it disappears. If you’ve got it in hand, others will be jealous. And if you do somehow get it framed on a wall, congrats to you.

That’s Your Heat Map for the Week
This week is a big one for first issues, horror gems, and crossover chaos. Whether you’re grabbing Lost Fantasy for the long game, Power Company for DC lore, or that spicy Vampirella metal cover, make sure to lock down your pre-orders early.
