TRENDING RELEASES NEXT WEEK

ABSOLUTE GREEN LANTERN #1

We had the Absolute Flash last week, and now it’s time for the Absolute Green Lantern. Just take a look at this stunning 1:25 variant cover, absolutely next level.

With new Batman and Superman origin stories in the early additions to the Absolute Universe, this shaping up to be one of the most exciting re-imaginings. This Green Lantern looks great, and I bet it's going to be entertaining.

Let’s get reading!

GRIMM FAIRY TALES: TALES OF TERROR #4 (ABBONDANZA COVER)

Like, where the heck did this cover come from? I’m not massively keen on the gremlin-looking thing.

The story itself centres around a Dybbuk, a spirit from folklore that possesses people and brings misfortune, illness, and straight-up chaos. Not the kind of hangover I’m looking for. The plot follows Cole Clark, who may only have one option to save his life, but at what cost? I guess it all depends on which one of those figures on the cover is the demon.

DAREDEVIL: COLD DAY IN HELL #1 (LEINIL YU COVER)

Daredevil is trending right now, thanks to the recent Disney+ series, so it’s the perfect time to dive into the character and start following a new storyline. This issue focuses on an older, perhaps physically weaker Matt Murdock, but don’t think for a second that’s going to stop him from rising to the challenge oh no.

This feels like one of those stories where you see the vulnerability behind the mask and end up bonding hard with the character. If you're new to Daredevil or just looking for a deeper, more personal touch, this could be for you.

DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE ONE LAST TIME #1

Let’s be honest, we can’t get enough of Deadpool. He’s funny, entertaining, and the art and storytelling in these books are always brilliant. This series throws down the gauntlet as Deadpool begins the final chapter in the infamous “Kills the Marvel Universe” saga. We dive deeper into the madness of the "Merc with a Mouth", exploring the layers of his psyche and the multiversal chaos left in the wake of his actions. It’s brutal, bold, and classic Deadpool.

TUNDERCATS METAL PREMIUM COVER #1

There are covers, and then there are Metal Premium Covers, and just look at this one! It’s stunning. I can already see that 9.8 CGC slab in my future. And what makes it even better? It’s Thundercats. What more could you ask for? Oh, wait, how about a great series that’s been delivering? Yep, you’ve found it. This one checks all the boxes.

BATMAN/SUPERMAN: - YASMINE PURI (1:25) #1

A call to arms for Aquaman, but it's the cover artist who rises to the challenge. It is an epic cover that consolidates the Batman and Superman, light and dark, relationship. In truth, that's all we need to know, as this 1:125 is most definitely going to be a gilded icon on my wall.

Don't miss out!

ABSOLUITE WONDERWOMAN #2 HAYDEN SHEMAN

The Absolute Universe just keeps gaining momentum, with Absolute Wonder Woman #2 now trending on the aftermarket — and honestly, it’s no surprise. This issue brings the heat as Harbinger Prime, a colossal monster, threatens Gateway City.

Diana steps up, wielding her legendary lasso, Nemesis, a weapon that inflicts pain based on the sins of its captive, and forces the creature to retreat. If you’ve got a copy of this book, you’re sitting on a hot one.

ABSOLUTE FLASH #1 JEFF LEMIRE VARIANT

I called out Absolute Flash last week, but there’s always that one variant that rises above the rest — and this time, it’s the Jeff Lemire variant. This cover is an absolute standout and is already turning into a hot potato on the aftermarket. It’s moody, unique, and unmistakably Lemire. If you manage to get your hands on one, hold onto it; this one’s a definite keeper.

WHITE TIGER #1

The 2007 White Tiger #1 comic is seeing a surge in interest and value within the collector aftermarket. This uptick is largely attributed to the Daredevil series on Disney+, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This could be a hidden gem to collect over the next few months, especially if the character becomes more mainstream in future MCU movies.

BATMAN ISSUE #158 - LAUNCH PARTY GLOW-IN-THE-DARK

Ok, so this is a glow-in-the-dark Batman symbol comic. That’s all you need to know. Yep!!! Just imagine this glowing slab in the centre of your slab wall, in the dark". OMG, amazing!

Yes, I’m ordering this and off to CGC it will go, no matter what the grade.. Oh, and of course, you’re getting a great Batman/Superman comic too!
