TRENDING RELEASES NEXT WEEK
GARGOYLES: DEMONA #1 (Dynamite Entertainment)
Disney’s dark queen of the night returns in her solo spotlight! Gargoyles: Demona #1 launches from Dynamite with fan-favorite writer Greg Weisman back at the helm, bringing one of the most iconic anti-heroes from the '90s animated series into the center of her epic storyline, which is confirmed as a live-action.
This new series promises to dive deep into Demona’s tormented past, ruthless ambitions, and ties to both myth and magic, making this a must-read for Gargoyles fans new and old.
The art looks crisp and action-packed, and if early previews are anything to go by..

VENOM ORIGINAL #1 (Marvel )
Just look at this cover, epic. Eddie Brock is now the King, possessing the power to control all symbiotes across space and time. What could go wrong! He attempts to use this power to revisit a pivotal moment before he became Venom, when the symbiote was still bonded to Peter Parker. So Massive link here!!!
However, altering the past has unforeseen consequences, leading to a reality where Spider-Man's fate is jeopardized. Eddie must confront the ramifications of his actions and strive to restore the timeline.. This sounds like classic Venom, Spider-Man, and Eddie Brock, a definite read in my opinion.

PHATOM INVASION #1 (Yen Press)
Like, what even is this cover about? The story follows Ryo, a guy who suddenly finds himself transported to a world full of powerful monster girls. Cool, I guess. Although, to be honest, I had a very different idea of what “monster girls” mean. But hey, who am I to argue? I had not spent a lot of time on it.. Ryo’s special skill is called “Charm,” just what you need when surrounded by monster girls. Which makes these monster girls more affectionate toward him. Naturally, he uses this to build a harem (Basically multiple love interests), all while plotting revenge on the creatures that destroyed his home. Sounds completely normal.

MR TERRIFIC: YEAR ONE #1
I have to be honest, I read the pre-release of this, and I wasn’t blown away. It’s definitely a slow burn, and maybe it’s geared more toward a different audience.
Michael Holt is portrayed as a brilliant young inventor whose life is shattered by the tragic loss of his wife, Paula, and their unborn son in a car accident. In the aftermath.
The plot seems to revolve around a new power source that may be making people sick; something sinister is brewing beneath the surface. It has potential, but I’m hoping things pick up in issue #2.

THE THING #1 (Marvel Comics)
The Goddamn Tragedy #1 is a 48-page, one-shot. Set against the backdrop of the American frontier in 1846, the narrative follows Ellen Janson, who aims to clarify the sensationalized tales of her family's westward journey. Accompanied by her mother, Irena, and father, Leo, the family seeks a better life. However, when Leo decides to take an untested shortcut through the mountains, their expedition spirals into a harrowing ordeal. As they confront the unforgiving elements, wildlife, and internal strife, the family's survival becomes uncertain, teetering on the edge of madness and tragedy. Sounds like a movie script to me!.
