Pre-Heat
Apply an initial 10 minutes at 30°C (86°F) should be applied first. If a comic heats up quickly and then cools down slowly, the stress on the fibers can cause flaring. Flaring can be time-consuming to correct. Older books, especially from the Copper Age and earlier, as well as comics that have been steamed or humidified, are particularly sensitive to flaring.
Before implementing the temperature below I always :
Press the comic for 10 Minutes as 30C or 86F.
Then follow the tables time below:

After Pressing
Always inspect the top and bottom edges of a pressed book to ensure they are flat and straight.
COLD PRESS TIMES
Generally, you should press the book for 24 hours, though a quicker press might allow you to remove it after 12 hours if necessary. Avoid the temptation to take the comic out before the pressing time is complete.
