Comics to Collect October 22nd 2025, starts with New York Comic Con 2025 delivering big time, with exclusive variants, jaw-dropping covers, and limited prints that already have collectors scrambling. From major publishers like DC and Dark Horse to indie heat from POP KILL and Dynamite, this year’s show had something for every type of collector, and a few surprise standouts that could become future grails.
In this roundup, we’re breaking down the must-have exclusives from NYCC 2025, including ultra-limited virgin variants, glow-in-the-dark stunners, and first appearances that might redefine major franchises. Whether you're a seasoned slabber or just love the chase, these are the books worth hunting.
Let’s dive into the key issues and killer covers that stole the show and the top releases for next week.
POP KILL #2 WILL JACK NYCC 2025
When it comes to sleek, sultry, and deadly collectible, the POP KILL #2 Will Jack Virgin Variant from New York Comic Con 2025 is a head-turner and a potential grail for indie collectors. This is already hitting the Top Ten and is still available and some comic shops.
If you missed POP KILL is a stylized espionage satire, where assassins, sabotage, and sex appeal are all included. This issue continues the story of mercenaries and marketing gone mad, but it's the Will Jack cover that steals the spotlight; This has quickly become the NYCC comics to collect.

The Terminator : Metal #1
The Terminator: Metal #1 drops us deep into the smouldering heart of the post-Judgment Day future. A scorched Earth where the line between survival and extinction is drawn in plasma fire. This issue sets the stage for a brutal new era in the war between man and machine.

What makes this entry special? It's a fresh start for the franchise and possibly a sleeper first appearance of a new Resistance hero, alongside a uniquely reprogrammed Terminator who may become a standout character in future issues.
This is definitely a must-have for Terminator fans. I can't see it becoming a massively in-demand collectible, but that said, it would look great slabbed and up on the wall, so maybe I'll pick this one up.
Captain Henry and the Graveyard of Time #1
We have a gorgeously illustrated time-warping horror, mind-bending monsters, and a central figure who may become a fan-favourite.
Set apart from the traditional Hellboy storylines, this four-part miniseries introduces Captain Henry, a bold new explorer cast adrift in the forgotten timelines of creation. In a realm where time itself is the enemy, readers are promised psychological dread, dimension-bending threats, and possibly first appearances that could reshape the cosmic structure of Mignola’s lore. Most defiantly one to watch, if a collector.

Carla Cohen continues with this striking “Alpha Glow-in-the-Dark” cover for Wonder Woman #25, released exclusively at New York Comic Con 2025. I don't need to say anything else, really. I mean, this comic glows in the dark.
This variant isn't just visually stunning, it’s positioned as the Alpha edition, which typically means extremely low print runs. As such a must have for me!.

DC K.O. #1 NATALI SANDERS NYCC 2025 VARIANT LIMITED TO 800 COPIES
I called this one out earlier this month, and Natali Sanders creates an amazing cover again at NYCC. Defiantly on for the collection!!!!!
The DC KO is an Earth story that is a brutal battlefield. A tournament-style battle royale where DC’s greatest heroes (and villains) throw hands for the right to face Darkseid in the ring. Sound wild? Therefore, even the story is great!!

Final Word
NYCC 2025 brought the fire, but as any seasoned collector knows, con exclusives don’t stay on shelves for long. Whether it’s a glow-in-the-dark Carla Cohen Wonder Woman or a hyper-limited POP KILL Will Jack Virgin.
With many of these variants capped at 1,000 copies or less, the window to score them at reasonable prices is already closing, so good luck hunting.
